About the book design and execution

Designing poetry books can be an arduous process because it requires staying true to the poet's form while working within the physical confines of the page. The designer worked closely with Peter, the poet, to ensure that his dynamic poems were represented properly on the 6 x 9 page. The cover design is heavily influenced by that of Allen Ginsberg's iconic poem "Howl."
