Basic POD: Starts at $895. We take your manuscript from a word document and custom design the interior and cover to professional trade quality. Includes up to 5 graphics, illustrations or photos for books up to 120 pages.  Also includes: ISBN, copyright page, bar code, book page on Epigraph site and national distribution through Lightning Source: Want your book available in hardcover: add $350.  For books longer than 120 pages or with more graphics add: $2 per page and $10 per graphic. For example, a 300 page book with 15 graphics would cost: 180 (the number of additional pages over 120) x $2 = $360, plus 10 (the number of additional graphics over 5) x $10 = $100, plus $895 (base cost) = $1355
Basic POD authors receive a 10% royalty on sales and wholesale discounts on book purchases ranging from 35%-50+%.

Copyediting: $0.015 per word. Check for errors in grammar, punctuation and spelling. In addition, the editor will verify cross-references and impose industry-standard style based on the Chicago Manual of Style.  

Custom publishing: Rent a "publisher for hire" to help you oversee parts or the entirety of the publishing process from editing to publicity. Your manuscript will be put through the same processes used by traditional publishers, but you maintain control and profits. Authors purchase books on a cost-plus-publisher-royalty basis and earn profits rather than royalties. Custom publishing is for those clients looking for a high level of personal service.
