How it works:

1) You send us your manuscript in a single word document. If you have art you wish us to use, send that too.

2) We design your book, inside and out, give it all necessary registrations and make it printer / market ready.

3) We transfer the files for your book to the printer, Lightning Source.

4) Lightning Source produces digital printing files and your book is now ready to print. If you are publishing the book for private use, your book is now ready for purchase and you can order however many quantities you like.

5) If you are publishing your book for bookstore availability, it is made available through Ingram Book Company, the largest book wholesaler in the US and the parent company of Lightning Source. When an order for your book is generated, (for example at Amazon or your local bookstore) the bookseller orders the book from Ingram, Lightning Source prints it, Ingram ships it, collects the money for the sale, subtracts the printing costs and forwards the balance of the money to Epigraph. Epigraph reports on sales and pays you royalties. You can also purchase your own books at discounts for resale or publicity and marketing purposes.
