Epigraph is proud to announce the service serious self-publishing authors need most….highest quality POD printing and distribution at discount prices

Did you know that print costs are the single greatest expense an author/publisher has?  Though many self publishing packages come with 5 or 10 free books, most self publishing authors will purchase 100 copies or more of their book within the first few months of publication. And every time a book is sold on Amazon, the author incurs a hidden printing cost as well--which shows up as lower earnings from sales (royalties)
Compare Epigraph’s per-copy print costs on a 200 page paperback with these major self-publishing companies (based on 15 units purchased):

I-Universe:  $11.02

AuthorHouse: $10.72

Xlibris: $12.99

Lulu: $7.50

Epigraph: $6.30

Print cost formulas:

Authors may order copies of their book in any quantity, but discount pricing for books begins at 15 copies or more per order. Single copy to 14 copy orders: Add $2 per unit. Formula below is based on a 15 copy order. This is also the formula used to establish print cost on distributed sales.

Net Sale Profits (Royalties):

We use “Net Sale Profits” rather than “Royalties” to designate profits earned through distributed sales such as Amazon.

Net Sale Profits formula: Retail price of book, minus the wholesale discount, minus the print cost equals Author Earnings. The print cost for distributed sales is set at the 15-25 copies price. Example: A 120 page book has a retail price of $16.95, a wholesale discount of 36% or $10.85 wholesale cost, and a print cost of $6.30 for Author Earnings of $4.55. Author can set own retail price and wholesale discount. Author Earnings are reported and paid monthly.
